Congratulations to Ruthin Pwllglas mixed team on winning the Welsh Garter match in Wrexham today. A resounding 8.5/1.5 win. Seen here is Nans Edwards, lady vice captain of Wrexham presenting the trophy to Garry Teeson, vice captain of Ruthin Pwllglas. All enjoyed good weather and a lovely meal afterwards. Thank you to all who played in the team.
The hanging baskets at the club have been superb this year. Thanks to all who have been involved with caring for them. Still plenty of flowers to come yet.

The club held the annual Family Trophy competition today and the winning team was Louie and Dylan Evans and Scott Sayers. The prizes were presented by Liz Price who, along with her late father Gwilym Roberts, presented the trophy to the club when Liz was Lady Captain

Adam Smith reigns supreme again this weekend, scoring a fantastic 63 gross (61 nett) to win the Corwen Millenium Trophy. He had thirteen pars, four birdies and one bogey in what was nearly a course record equalling round. Absolutely brilliant Adam.

After 30 years of trying, Gordon Roberts finally achieved a lifetime ambition and had a hole in one on the 7th hole at Pwllglas, in the Thursday roll up last week. Many congratulations Gordon there’s still hope for the rest of us!
Congratulations to Brenda Roberts on winning a bronze medal at the British Transplant Games. Pictured with her trusty caddy, Wendy. The games were held in Coventry and the golf was played on the King's Course at The Warwickshire Golf Club.

Lovely to see Bromborough Ladies visiting us again today. Keeping up with tradition Brenda presents their lady captain Karen with some flowers. I hope they enjoyed the course and weather.
