Work on installing a new water bore hole at the club has been taking place this week. The bore hole was taken down to a depth of 101.0m. This new supply will reduce our reliance on mains water supply for the sprinkler ststem on the course and is a major contributor towards meeting our sustainability targets.

worrying that drilling seems to be carrying on with the safety gate open and also that the choice of hard hat in the drop zone of the drilling rig is a wooly hat.

Competition results week ending 26th November 2023
The final Turkey Trot of 2023 was held over the weekend and Matthew Duckworth was in excellent form scoring 42 Stableford points and winning by four clear points from Oly Grey.
Division 1 was won by Oly Grey with 38 pts with Kevin Roberts second and Gwilym Roberts third.
In Division 2, three players scored 37 points but it was Alan Padmore who came out on top with the best back nine with Keith Turner second and Phil Corbett third.

Great podcast however To encourage new members the top priority must be sorting the greens out. The state of the temp greens would put me off joining straight away if I was looking to join a golf club.
